Buy a Wine Fridge.

You’re standing in front of me asking questions about wine.
I’ve just described the varietal Cab Franc to a T.
You are going to Raceida.
A “fly” couple with a nascent love of the grape. Cute little fellers.
“Well, we don’t have a cellar or anything, but we keep our wine in the basement”.
“Is it cool and about 62º?”
“Um no.” “It still stays cool usually. But it gets hot in the summertime”(wan smile)
At this point the hopeful glance becomes a plea.
I could skewer them, but my job disallows it. I like them anyhow.
“Guys, just buy a wine fridge”.
“Really?”
“Yeah, you can get one for about 150$” “ A relative nice one for 50 btl space”
“Really?”
“Yes” Get one.” “The basement will do great in allowing you to have a bunch of vinegar in a few years maybe”(smile, kidding)

After about 45 minutes with them, the bottom line uttered is:
“If you don’t have a true cellar, buy a wine fridge”
